    viii Onery two-ery dickery dairy
All about crackers, a general 'lavy'
    Dicksom, dandum, moragum die
    Tumble-um bumble-um
    Twenty nine.
ix There was a crooked man
And he walked a crooked mile.
He found a crooked six pence
    Upon a crooked style.
    He bought a crooked cat
    Who caught a crooked mouse
And they all lived together in a crooked little house.
x There was a fair in Turloughmore
And a dance in Muray's floor
The same night they cut the tail of Paddy Rose
    The building was started
    And the foundation carted
    And Seán a'Bhrother's broken hearted
    Says the Sean-Bhean Bhocht.
xi Carrolls hut is six foot from the ground
    And it's timber all around.
He brought the land from Michael Carr
And so they ahd a bar
It was built by Páidín Coaley[?]
And so it must be holy
And if he doesn't get a missus
    He'll break all the dishes
And kill all the thrushes, then lie in the Cloboo bushes.
