  2. On Christmas Eve It is the custom in many places to leave all the doors open and three lighted candles in the centre of the kitchen. On New Years Eve there is much rejoicing. The people have a great feast and then go to the nearest church where the bells bring in the new year.
    On St Patrick's Day. All the people wear bunches of shamrock badges of St Patrick.
    On Easter Sunday Choclate eggs are eaten with zeal.
