    on timber and another pike of timber in on the hole and twisted it around.There used be a taste on the bread after the timber.They used make boxty ,by taking the skin off the potatoes and they had a piece of tin with holes in it and they rubbed the potatoes to it and and it came off in small bits like meal.Then they used squeeze this and put salt in it and baked it on a griddle.
