Lough Graney
Long ago there was a well where Lough Graney is now and it is said that a woman named Graney went to it and forgot to cover it .It swept her from From Lough Graney and from that to Tuamgraney ,and from that to Derrygraney.
- Old school- games of long ago.
Long ago the children used play games which were very different from nowadays .Some of these I will mention .
Cabing -two boys would catch each other by the cabes and swing to see who would fall first.
Capping- two boys would begin striking each other on the caps, and each one trying to protect themselves(continues on next page) - Collector
