  1. Knocknahane is a big townsland. There are six houses in it. There are remains of old houses in it. There is one near Michael Brodericks mountain. An old woman and her daughter were living in it. The old woman died and the daughter went away to America.
The people gathered one Sunday and built a house for her and she got a public house and she made some money. The old woman name was Kitty Lynch.
