  1. Customs on certain days
    1) On St Stephen's day youngsters go out gathering money as they say "to bury the wren". Usually the people give them 6 or 7 or often, shilling. When they would go into a house they would dance and sing songs like the following.
    1) Up with the kettle,
    Down with the pan,
    give e my answer
    and let me be gone.

    2)On St Patrick's day people wear the shamrock on their coats to honour the patron saint of Ireland - St Patrick. Long ago the old people used
