“In ancient times men spoke of the Seven Wonders of the world.”
In ancient times men spoke of the seven wonders of the world. These were splendid buildings and statues, and great hanging gardens in Egypt and Greece and Babylon. One great statue stood over the entrance of the harbour in the Island of Rhodes and was so large that ships sailed between its mighty legs. There are greater wonders of buildings in the world. For example the tall structures in America, called "skyscapers", with fifty or sixty, or even more storeys are far mightier than the grandest building in olden times.- Bailitheoir
