- We have the month of April now. There are thirty days in the month of April. The days are getting longer and longer and the nights are getting shorter and shorter. The daisies are beginning to grow now. The birds are to be heard singing morning and evening and many times during the day. The birds are beginning to make their nests now. The people are very busy now setting potatoes and oats. The birds are up very early in the morning. The sun rises early in the morning and sets late in the evening.
