  1. Long ago there was a crowd of men playing cards in a public house. After each match of cards they used to have a drink. When they had finished it was midnight and they were nearly drunk. There was a grave-yard near by. At that time when the people were opening graves they used to get the skulls of the dead people and make a heap of them in the graveyard. They began to bet as to who would go to the grave-yard and bring one of the skulls. One of the men said he would go. Another man made a big bet of money. He went for the skull. Another of the men made a short cut to the grave-yard and got there before him. The man who went for the skull took one and the man said "Leave that there, it is mine."
