You gallant sportsmen all around just listen on to me.

    :Local Song:
    I
You gallant sportsmen all around just listen on to me.
About a hunt that has took place in this country
To meet the men of famed Armagh the Connons sports did plan.
Brave Donelly and he's heroes came about two dozen strong.
    II
Although the morn was murky and the rain was falling fast.
These gallant sportsmen came along all in the best of mirth.
The Connons party welcomed them with cheers that rent the air
You'll find they met with men, and dogs quite fit to hung a hare
    III
The hunters call was heard my boys before the day cleared up
And every sportsmen old and young assembled on the sport.
Their hearts were light and joyous earthly cares were soon forgot
