    Ans: The man had one eye, the apple tree bore two apples he took one apple.
    Q: What bears and never blossoms.
    Ans: The crook.
    Q: There was an apple tree with three apples on it, three lords passed by. Each lord pulled and apple. Still there were two left.
    Ans: One lord was each lord.
    Q: Why does a man go up the hill.
    Ans: Because he cant go under it.
    Q: My mother sent me over to your mother for the loan of an empty vessel to hold flesh and blood.
    Ans: A ring.
    Q: I have a wee house it would not hold a mouse there are more windows on it than the lord mayor's house.
    Ans: A thimble.
    Q: The leaper of hedges, the cropper of ditches my bonny wee cow with the leather pair of horns.
    Ans: A hare.
