  1. No one gets Married the cross day of the year that is the third day after New Years day. And Friday is a lucky day to put hens hatching and to move into a new house or to sow potatoes or cabbage. It is unlucky to sow seed on Easter Monday. Sunday is a lucky day to wear new clothes or boots. The old people never put on new clothes till Sunday. Some people say it is not right to part with your money the Monday after New Years day.
