    External Cist. Steal water from a forge the water should have been used previously by the smith for cooling iron.
    Falling Sickness: Never stand between the patient and the fire, if so the person is supposed to become effected with it. A remedy against this is to burn the clothes' that was worn when present with the person effected.
    Chapped Lips. Apply the inside white skin from the stem of a dog - leaf.
    Burns: Any person who has licked a lizard to breathe on the burn relieves the pain
    Corns. Put a piece of wool from black - sheep in the sock.
    Diabetes: To drink some of the water from the seven streams near Carron (in Nt. Clare) This remedy is very widely used.
