  1. It is said that there is treasure hidden in the cazair [?] behind our house in Caherclancy. Toonagh under a big stone with a horse shoe chisled out on the top of the stone. It might be chalices and things connected with the chapel that are hidden under it because my father got a bell on the top of the stones a few years ago. It is said that there is a pig sitting on the top of a "drooping ash" behind the cazair and he might be minding the gold but no one ever tried to get it. A ghost used be seen every night in the middle of the road. He used take different shapes. Sometimes he used be the shape of a dog and other times he used be the shape of a horse.
