  1. My-Home 1-6-1938.
    Chapel Lane was at one time, the most thickly populated part of Clogheen, which was at that time the most prosperous and thriving town of it;s size in Ireland, and numbered it's inhabitants in thousands.
    The old Chapel was situated in what is now Moloney's field, at the end of the rank of houses on the Mill Rd, and not on the side of the existing Protestant Church. There are no remains of the old Catholic Church to be seen today. The old stone from which Clogheen got it's name, can still be seen at
