  1. A Ghost Story.
Glenlea Clogheen in olden days belonged to a family name Fennells who were quakers. The last of this family to live was a man named Josophat Fennell. He was supposed to be connected with the murder of a man in or near his house.
After his death his ghost is said to have haunted one of the rooms of the house. One window in this particular room was cealed for many years. From this window it is said that his ghost used to appear. For many years this superstition has died out and nothing since has been heard of it.
