    Warts: Get a little flower called “Milk flower” and rub the juice of it to the wart.
    Scalds and cuts in the hand: Wash the hands in cow’s urine.
    Whittles: Get a poultice of cow dung and put it to them
    Pains in the back: Mix the white of an egg and an equal quantity of turpentine together, and rub it to the back and chest.
    Sting of a bee: Take out the sting and rub some blue to the place affected.
    Measles: Take a sheep’s droppings and boil them in milk and give it to the patient to drink.
    Chilblains: Get a turnip and cut a hole in it. Put some salt in the hole. Leave it rest for a while, and rub the juice that comes into it to the chilblains.
    Warts: Go to some house and steal a piece of fat meat and rub the juice of it to the wart.
    Headache: Hang out a ribbon on St. Bridget’s night and take it in the next morning. Then when the headache comes, put the ribbon around your head and the headache disappears.
    Pains in the back: Put some sulphur in your boots and stockings and then the pains will go away.
    Cuts: Cut a fuzzball in two. Then put it to the cut and put a bandage around it.
