    BLACKLEG
    The Symptoms
    1) The leg gets very big and swollen.
    Cure
    When a calf dies with black leg, cut off the leg and stick it up the chimney. It is said as long as the leg is up the chimney no other calf will get the blackleg.

    TETHERS
    The Symptoms
    When a calf gets tethers the hair falls off. She scratches herself against the wall. After a while she begins to bleed, where the place is sore. This skin disease can be cured.
