  1. There was once an old man who loved in Greaghlough. One night he dreamt that some time when working out in the field he would find a pot of gold. About a week later he and another man were ploughing a field about a half a mile from his own house. The plough rooted up the pot of gold out of the ground. There was clay on it and no body could know what it was unless they looked at it. The man that had the dream knew at once what it was. He did not want the other man to see it. He told the man that was with him to go over and turn the cattle out of the oats and put them into another field. When he was gone the man took up the pot of gold and hid it so that no body would find it. The place where he hid it is known up to this date. He never let any body see the gold but every
