  1. There is an old story told about the Moat Of Moybologue. It is said that a crowd of men came over from England to get the King's coat of Armour and the pot of gold that were hidden in the moat. There is a little hole in the side of the moat about the size of a rabbit's burrough and it runs under the ground for about a mile. It is said that an old chief made it so that nobody would know where his valuables were hidden after his death. It is said that the chieftain's hound, his coat of armour. A pot of gold and ten guns are in the moat yet. It is also said that the chieftain was buried in it and that his remains are there yet.
    The people that searched the place did not find anything but as they were digging with the crow bar they let it fall and it sank down in the ground. They could hear it jingling as it went down through the earth and they never got it
