Local families still have Graveyards further away from the parish Graveyard.
There are many beautiful yew trees in Lurgan Protestant graveyard and there are a few palm trees in Lurgan roman Catholic Graveyard.
There are some old tombs in the Graveyards.
The oldest tomb in the Lurgan Protestant Graveyard is dated 1848, the oldest tomb in the Roman Catholic Graveyard id dated 1720. There are some ornamental crosses over the tombs, some are made of wood, others of stone, otheers of cement, others of iron and others of marble.
People are buried in the ruin of the Old Lurgan Graveyard.
There are not any disused graveyards in the parish.
