Ar an leathanach seo

  1. The old coach road from Dublin to Enniskillen passed though the townlands of Drumbruchas, Drummod and Drumba directly on to the village of Kinawley 3 miles distant from the village of Swanlinbar. It branched out from the townland of Gortoral to Swanlinbar. There is a bridge in that townland into which a stone is said to be one of the old mile stones on the coach road is built. Another one was built into a bank opposite the house belonging to Mr. Patrick Kearns Swanlinbar, Co. Cavan.
    The figures 3' were roughly cut on it. They were considered to indicate the distance between the village of Swanlinbar and the town of Sligo.
