- The people around this district make potatoe cakes. The way they are made, is to get potatoes and fry them. Then mash them up in a basin and then get flour, eggs, new-milk, soda, butter or margarine, pepper.
Another cake people make is the oatmeal cake. The way they are made is oatmeal and flour mixed with it and butter-milk soda salt. Then they mix them together and then they flatten it out and make it(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile) - Bailitheoir
