When there is a white frost on the ground it is another sign of rain. When a flock of sheep gather together in a field it is the sign of rain.
- When the sky is red in the evening it is a sign of a fine day. When all the seagulls are in flocks in the fields it is a sign of rain.

The distant hills are seeming nigh.
The dog he alters in his taste
Quits mutton bones on grass to feast
