  1. The Local roads are known by, the Churches Road, the Rock Road, the Greenane Road, the Brewery Road, the Station road, the Coach road, the Stump road, the Avondale Road, and the Goodstone road. These roads were made long before the famine.
The Coach road is the oldest road in this district.
There are a couple of very old paths in this district, one leads from the copse along through the Shank Yard and down to the Home Road, another one leads from the Fairgreen down to the Church, there is another old path called Jacob's ladder. It goes from the Lower St down to the Coach Road.
