Three is an ancient stone cross at Castle Bernard and on it are carvings of St. Patrick baptising Prince Aongus,
It is a field just before you approach the village of Kinnity. It is ornamental but the upright shaft is broken off. It is said that Colman son of Aongus came to rule and that he had a cross erected in memory of his father. No one knows any stones with carvings like that in any other place around the country.
