- (7) Get an elder stick, and put as many holes, as there are warts and bless every wart. Bury the stick under a stone, and when the stick rots the warts will rot.
- (8) Get a straw and nib it on the wart. Bury the straw and as it rots the wart will rot.

- (9) Water out of a hole in a tree cures warts.
- (10) A cross made of straw and rubbed on a wart and then buried, heals it when it rots.
- (11) If you found a snail when you were not looking for one , rub it on a wart and it will cure it.
