    When the north winds blow this wind is very cold and therefore we get cold weather.
    When the south wind blows we have warm weather.
    When black clouds are seen going across the sky that is the sign that a storm is coming.
    When the swallows are fling low near the ground or over the river it is a sign of rain.
    Also when the wild geese fly high or the sheep go under the ditch this shows that we are going to have rain.
    When the cat scrapes wood or a twig this is also an omen that we are going to have rain.
