    In olden times in the month of May no person would get married because they are supposed to be unlucky.
    Seven sons or seven daughters. If a man had seven sons or seven daughters the seventh is supposed to be lucky because the seventh son is able to cure a ringworm, and the seventh daughter can tell fortunes.
    Poultices.
    In olden times the people used to use different poultices than we have now, they used oaten porridge and bran and buttermilk for poultices.
    Whit Sunday.
    On Whit Sunday every animal or person that's born on that day is to be lucky. The person that's born on that day is
