Ar an leathanach seo
- In Cloonan's field a treasure is supposed to be hidden. The Fenians were supposed to have put it there for safety.
Foreigners attempted to get it but they did not succeed. The treasure is supposed to consist of a pot with a large quantity of silver in it. The value is not known.
There is not any food buried with the silver. A man who was buried long ago minds the treasure every night. If people go for the treasure by night this man will follow them.
A woman named Mrs. Lyons, a native of Kilcolgan, lived in a house with a large tree in front of it, near where this treasure is hidden
It is said that this tree is the nicest and largest in the country. The day Mrs. Lyons was dying a large number of candles appeared on the tree, all lighted. Mrs. Lyons said to Martin Curley(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
