"Well, I think your seven daughters are the finest in the nation."
Said a man, who sat conversing with their father o'er the fire.
"They're held by all who know them in the highest estimation,
Now, I wonder, will you tell me which one do you most admire?"

"Will I tell you?" said the father, as his features mildly brightened.
And the pipe he had been smoking he then gently laid aside
