  1. The Gobán Saor.
    When St. Aidan was building his church, he lacked skilled workmen. He employed a labourer one day - blessed his hands and immediately the man became a skilled architect, and later a famous builder. He was known as the Gobán Saor, and built marvellous Castles etc throughout the country.

  2. One of the flat tombstones in the Graveyard marks the grave of a Fr.Redmond, who while a student in France, saved the boy Napoleon from drowning
