  1. There is a Raheen in Mr. Ryan's field. It is circular in shape and very big. There is also one in Mr. McCreas field and both of them are in sight of each other. There are no trees growing around the Raheen. Long ago there were two ditches around it but one of them fell. In the middle of the Rath is a very big hole and very deep.
A crowd of people one night heard of a crock of gold buried in it, The men went to dig for it; When they reached it they looked into the hole. One of the men said they would like to go down. So he went down but never returned. The other men went to dig for the gold but did not get it.
Noone is sure who built it but it is said that the Milisions both of them. Mr. Ryan went to plough where the ditch fell but when he started, the sock flew up off the plough and it was never seen again. There are no fairy people living in it
