When the star are sparkling very brightly early in the night it is a sign that frost will follow. When the clouds are low it is a sign that rain will follow, but if they are high it is a sign of fine weather.A rainbow in the morning is a sign of a storm. A rainbow at night is a sign of fine weather. There is an old rhyme which says a rainbow in the morning is the sailors warning.
