- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)There is another blessed well in Kinnagh it is dedicated to St. Martin. It was first situated at the old church in Downes land until the horsemen of 98 were one day passing it by. They stopped to water their horses. That night it disappeared in a hall of fire to a field about a mile away. My father heard of its curing and went for nine mornings in succession to this well. He was cured of a pain in his hip. For the first morning he was unable to leave his right foot on the ground he felt it getting better and on the last morning he was able to walk as he liked.
There was never any fish caught in those holy well.
