    they bathed the feet in bog water, and often in hot water to which a small handful of salt had been added, and this gave great ease.
    For a corn on the sole of the foot, a fresh ivy leaf was applied daily until the corn disappeared.
    A great change has taken place since then as very few children go about in their bare feet now a days. They are provided with good strong boots from local charitable funds.
