- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)Long ago there were poor scholars and they used to go from house to house. One time there was a poor scholar and he went to this certain house. The ? of the house found a crock of gold a little while before that at the side of a bush. There was a golden lid on the crock and there was writing on the lid. No one could read the writing. When this poor scholar came to the house the lid was hanging on the wall. The scholar asked the woman where did she get it "because" he said, "where ever you got it the other side of the bush is as good as this." The woman and her husband went out to the bush and dug the other side and there was a crock of gold there the very same(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
