  1. There is an old stone in a place called Borncaoola. It is called the quern stone. Long ago the people used to grind their meal with stonesand these stones were called quern stones. There used to be a lot of quern stones around this big stone. One evening an old man brought home a quern stone which he found at this big stone. That night he heard a light noise in the kitchen and when he got up next morning the stone was left out side the door. It is said that the fairies were trying to bring back the stone.
