- There is an old stone in a place called Borncaoola. It is called the quern stone. Long ago the people used to grind their meal with stonesand these stones were called quern stones. There used to be a lot of quern stones around this big stone. One evening an old man brought home a quern stone which he found at this big stone. That night he heard a light noise in the kitchen and when he got up next morning the stone was left out side the door.
