    When a person hits an animal with an elder stick, it is thought if the person is young that his growth is stopped. It is also said that if one person strikes another with an elder stick the latter will die.
    When a person is buying an animal and does not buy it he should say God bless it or the animal will thrive badly afterwards and it is considered "over looked".
    If a person finds a four leaf shamrock it is a lucky sign and he will be wealthy afterwards.
