- I have a churn at home. Our churn is a foot and a half tall and a foot two inches wide in top and bottom. The sides are round. Our churn is about fourteen years old. The various parts are called the lid, beaters, the handle, and the stand. There is no mark on our churn.
We make our butter twice a week in the winter and three times a week in the summer.
My sister does the churning at home. Strangers help at the churning sometimes when they are there because they say if they don't it will be unlucky. It takes fifteen minutes to do our churning.
