  1. There is a wood near Ballinrink where it is said a queer dog used live. One night as a man was coming home from a dance. As he came to the wood the big dog with two legs and huge horns crossed the road.
    The man stood on the road and blessed himself and all disappeared and he got home safely but he never went that way again.
