There was once in this locality a certain man named John Clarke.
He used to ceilidhe in a neighbour's house everynight.
On his way home he had to cross a graveyard which was supposed to be haunted.
One night a man named Pat Murphy made up his mind to frighten him.
He dressed himself up in a white sheet and sat on the pier of a gate. He was not very long there till a real black ghost came an sat down beside him.
When Pat sat down the Ghost he jumped from the pier and ran away frightened. The blacke ghost jumped down and followed him.
