Ar an leathanach seo
- There are many old people in this district. They do not know much Irish. But they remember many things that happened for the last sixty years. They often tell stories of the famine. They often talk about road-making. There are some new roads near where I live. There is a new piece of a road that is called Kilcarty road. It was made about the same time that the railway was made. The old road that was there is now a lane covered with grass. It is called Downes's lane because about seven years ago an old man and woman lived there. Their names were Bridget and Patrick Downes and the lane was called after their name.
There is an old road about three miles from Kilmessan. It is a branch of the Ringlestown-Navan road. It was repaired about two years ago. Before that it was covered with(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
