  1. The name of my home district is Cullenstown, parish of Darver, and barony of Louth.
    There are six families in this townland.
    The most common names are Mc Guinness, Mr Cartney, and Mc Kenna.
    All the houses are thatched except three.
    The townland got its name from a man the name of Cullen that lived in the district.
    There are two old people living here.
    They do not know Irish.
    Their names, and addresses are,

    Co. Louth
    Mr. Patrick Lear,

    Co. Louth
    There were more houses in the district in former times.
    There are no traces of any houses that were there only one.
    A couple of people did emigrated in former years from this townland.
    The townland is not mentioned in any song or saying. The land is all good.
