    The local patron Saint of this district was Saint Ronan.
    A Church dose not exist in ruins or in use built by Saint Ronan but a well is still to be seen.
    There are no stories told about the local Saint. He has no monastery there, and he worked no miracles.
    The hall in Dromiskin is called after him.
    There is a holy well in Dromiskin in his honour.
