  1. Cow:
    The cow is kept in a byre during the winter. She is fed with hay and turnips, and in the summer she is out in the field. Before calving she is with a bran mash, her udder is cleaned before milking, and the milker finished dips his thumb in the milk, and makes the sign of the cross on her side, when you are taking her home say, go on chee.
    Horse:
    The horse is kept in a shed in the winter, he is fed with hay turnips and oats, his bed is cleaned out every day and an nice bed put in. In the summer he is out in the field.
    Pig:
    The pig is fed with meal and potatoes she is kept in a clean sty, when you are calling her
