  1. Over at Summerhill there is a place they call the round doe, people say there are fairies in it. It is a lonley place they have a pass from the top of the hill down the field and get out at John Brodigans house and cross over to the big bush and back again, that was their pass they often put people astray and kept them out all night until day break in the morning. People say they often lit candles on the big. My granny told me she saw the lit candles.
