Ar an leathanach seo

Then the farmers open drills with a shovel or a small timber plough. When that is done they scatter manure along the drills and then they spread the potatoes along the drills so that the manure would help to nourish the potato
When the potatoes start growing they first grow a stalk and then small potatoes grow out of that stalk and the old one will rot away.
Those stalks are sprayed in the month of May with blue-stone and other varieties of stuff.
The people shovel earth around the stalks and that is called "casting"
