- Master Mc Grath was a famous Irish hound who won the Waterloo cup in the year 1809. He was owned by Lord Lorgan. When he was a young pup he was saved from being drowned by a boy named Mc Grath who was Lord Lorgan's servant and thus the dog was called after him. The dog was given to Lord Lorgan who trained him. After beating all the Irish hounds he was brought over to England and there he was run against an English hound named Rose.
