Giants witches etc
There was a giant called Giant Broden living in a cave in the left shoulder of Broe mountain and its door is concealed from mortal sight by magic power. "Broe" mountain is called "Broe" after this giant.
There was once an old hag around here called Isable Gowdie. She was a great tormenter, she used cut the tips of her nails and of her hair and scatter them in the air and they would raise ugly sores and ulcers on the people she hated. One day she changed herself into a hare and was met by two dogs
